All Rxtwd products are designed and independently tested to meet or exceed international safety standards for children's electronic toys. Every certification is issued by an ISO-accredited third-party testing laboratory — not self-declared.
Certifications
CPC
Children's Product Certificate — mandatory U.S. certification for children's products under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). Confirms compliance with all applicable federal safety rules including lead content, phthalates, and mechanical safety.
CE-RED
Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU — confirms the product meets EU requirements for radio frequency devices, including electromagnetic compatibility (EN 301489), radio spectrum efficiency (EN 300328), and electrical safety (EN 62368-1).
EN71 Parts 1–3
European Toy Safety Standard — independently tested and passed all three parts: EN71-1 (Mechanical & Physical Properties), EN71-2 (Flammability), and EN71-3 (Migration of Certain Elements — all 19 elements tested below detection limits).
ROHS
Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2011/65/EU with amendment (EU) 2015/863 — confirms the product contains no restricted levels of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBBs, PBDEs, or four phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP).

All certifications were issued in December 2025 by an ISO-accredited independent testing laboratory. Age grading: 3+ years.
Materials & Construction
- Body: Non-toxic, BPA-free ABS plastic — the same grade used in children's feeding products
- Grip: Food-grade silicone — soft, non-slip, and safe for prolonged skin contact
- No small detachable parts — fully enclosed construction with no removable components that could present a choking hazard
- All electronic components are fully enclosed within the ABS housing and inaccessible to children during normal use
- Battery: Built-in lithium-ion cell — permanently sealed inside the device; not user-accessible
Durability Testing
- Drop test: 4 feet (1.2 meters) onto concrete — all six sides tested; no functional damage or casing cracks
- Button cycle test: Push-to-talk button rated for 50,000+ presses without failure
- Battery cycle test: 500+ full charge-discharge cycles retaining 80% or more of original capacity
- Edge and point safety: All external edges radiused and surfaces smoothed — passed EN71-1 sharp edge/point requirements
